Carol Levine attended USTA Nationals in Orlando, Florida at the USTA National Campus. She played both singles and doubles with her Chestnut Ridge Team in the Adult 18 & Over 4.5 Women’s Division Championships. They represented the Eastern Section and played against 6 different teams from around the country. Carol won all 6 matches that she played, but her team landed in second place overall. They fought hard in the finals and lost by only one match to the Ohio team representing the Midwest Section, with a final score of 3-2.
Carol didn’t just stop there either! After all that tennis, she traveled over to Boca Raton to play in the 2017 USTA National Women’s Intersectional Team Event. Again she represented the Eastern Section of the country, playing both singles and doubles in the 55 & Over Women’s Division. Carol won 4 out of the 6 matches she played. Her team came in third place overall, and they received the bronze medal. She said that it was a very special moment for her, since it was the first time an Eastern Section Team has won a medal in 15 years!!!
Great job Carol! We are so proud of you!!!
