The following comprehensive information is designed to offer insight to TSR planning and strategy. This document will be updated as necessary and available on our website. Once you’ve reviewed it, please feel free to direct any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guidelines and recommendations: The safety and comfort of our members is our top priority. All TSR management and staff have been asked to review and abide by the CDC and NYDOH guidelines and recommendations.
Masks are mandatory for all people entering Taconic Sport & Racquet regardless of vaccination status:
- All members, guests, and Junior Players are required to wear masks for the duration of the visit to the indoor facility at Taconic Sport and Racquet.
- Front Desk staff will wear masks at all times.
In the case of a Covid positive case (player, guest, or staff), Taconic Sport & Racquet will follow current CDC and NYDOH guidelines. These guidelines will be followed in regards to who is notified, method of notification, timeframes for notification, and quarantine timeframes.
The health of our members: We ask that members, guests, and junior players please not come to the club if you or any member of your household is showing signs of cough, fever, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and/or recent loss of taste or smell. If you begin to feel ill during play, please notify the members on your court and leave immediately. If you are identified/tracked/traced as being in contact with a Covid-19 positive person, please follow current CDC and NYDOH guidelines. The 24-hour cancellation policy will be waived for any member that falls ill with a doctor note.
If you are enrolled in a Season Court and fall ill, you are expected to get a sub or sell your shares.
If you are enrolled in a BYO or TSR Instructional Clinic and fall ill, the current makeup policy applies or you can sell/trade your shares. https://www.taconicracquet.com/policies-info/
In the case of a medical issue resulting in an inability to participate: credits to account can be requested in the following circumstances:
A TSR Instructional Clinic participant in the case of any medical issue resulting in an inability to participate for more than 30 days can, with a medical release from a doctor (a copy sent to TSR), request a prorated credit.
A BYO Instructional Clinic participant in the case of any medical issue resulting in an inability to participate is financially responsible for the spot for the entire season until a replacement is found, or the group can choose to adjust the pro to player ratio and incur the price difference.
**Please note any selling or trading of shares is expected to be done without the involvement of Taconic Sport & Racquet. Funds and/or charges will not be transferred from one account to another.
Social “physical” distancing: Should be abided by whenever possible. Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping space between yourself and other people outside of your home. To practice social or physical distancing stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from employees, members and all people at all times. No hand shaking, high fives or chest bumps, please. We ask members attempt to not crowd hallways, walkways, and the front desk area. Masks must be worn at all times when walking in the indoor facility and can only be removed once on court.
Hand Sanitizers: Hand sanitizing stations and wipes are available throughout the facility, on the indoor courts, in the lounge, at the front desk, and in the locker room. We encourage all members, guests and Junior Players to frequently utilize them.
TSR Lounge: Masks are mandatory at all times when in any indoor area at TSR, including the TSR Lounge. Six-foot social distancing should be abided by at all times.
HVAC review and recommendations: The TSR ventilation system serves the basketball/pickleball courts, Orange Ball court (formerly fitness), the lounge, front desk area, and locker rooms. For the start of the indoor season, Fox Air installed sixteen MERV-13 filters. These filters serve all areas of the ventilation system. These filters will be checked on a monthly basis and replaced as needed. During installation of the MERV-13 filters, Fox Air tuned-up, cleaned, and fully serviced the ventilation system. They have adjusted the fan speed to increase airflow to an optimum level. These upgrades are an important part of our ongoing efforts to keep our members, staff, junior players, and guests safe and healthy.
Front Desk adaptations: A physical barrier will be in place at the Front Desk.
