Summer 10 Week Build Your Own Instructional Clinic 2023

Taconic Sport & Racquet is offering a 10 Week Summer Build Your Own (BYO) Instructional Clinic! This Instructional Clinic offers 10 weeks of instruction to groups of players. You pick the players, the Tennis Professional, the day and the time. We will do our best to accommodate requests or offer other options. The players and the Tennis Professional work together to set the curriculum and decide what skills to work on. This is open and available to both Adult and Junior players!
Act fast!! Many players will be requesting early morning play to avoid the summer heat! Tennis Professional schedules will fill. If you want to play at a specific day/time, please send your request ASAP. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
For those of you new to a “Build Your Own” Instructional Clinic – please note, this clinic is created by the players! Taconic Sport & Racquet does not add players, we do not place players, we do not create the schedule of play. Therefore, if you are interested in joining a Build Your Own Instructional Clinic, it is your responsibility to put the group of players together and to create and manage the schedule.
Dates and Rates: Sessions start the week of Monday, June 5th and end the week of August 14th. Specific start and end dates will be sent when the clinic is booked.
The member rate for 10 weeks (90 minutes per week) is $425 per player for a Staff Tennis Professionals and $525 per player for Senior Tennis Professionals. Prices are based on four players on court for 90 minutes per week for 10 weeks.
How to Schedule: Once you’ve assembled your group and know your desired Tennis Professional, day and time, please email info@taconicracquet.com. We will check Tennis Professional and court availability and work with you to fulfill your request!
Please note the following policies:
- Similar to the indoor season BYO, this session CAN BE SHARED between players. This allows for flexibility to consider vacations and schedules! The group must fill and will be billed for 40 spots (4 players on court for 10 weeks).
- There will be one 90 minute makeup session for 2.0/2.5 and one 90 minute makeup session for 3.0+. This makeup session may or may not be with your tennis professional, will include and combine players from all Summer Build Your Own Clinics, and will be offered on a weekend. If a player misses more than one week, no other makeup options will be offered and no refunds will be offered.
- If a player, for any reason, cannot complete the 10-week session, they are responsible for finding a replacement player or the spot can go unfilled. There will be no credits or refunds of any kind for any reason.
- The session can be pro-rated and started any time up to 5 weeks past the start date.
- All payments are made in full and processed before the first week classes commence.
- If a selected pro falls ill, has scheduled vacation time, or is unable to complete the 10-week session for any reason, a fill-in pro will be assigned to the group at the discretion of TSR.
- The Instructional Clinic will be conducted on the indoor or outdoor courts at the discretion of TSR.
