Lindsay brings a wealth of skills to the Director of Operations position at Taconic Sport & Racquet. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech, Lindsay continued her education to achieve a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas.
Lindsay put her knowledge to work locally in Hopewell Junction at IBM and Global Foundries. With an extensive background in engineering, she accrued over 17 years of manufacturing operations experience. With a focus on optimizing production flow and data analytics, Lindsay was dedicated to ensuring smooth and effective workflow and efficient team communications. Lindsay has spent the last decade leading high level logistics teams and management of large-scale projects. Her efforts were rewarded when she was honored with the 2020 Chief Executive Officer Award.
This impressive skillset is matched with an amazing on court resume! Lindsay is currently the highest ranked 4.0 woman in the Mid-Hudson Region, and listed 15th among all USTA ranked women in our region. In the past 7 years, she has played over 375 USTA matches and her 2020 USTA record was an impressive 20-3. She has played in over 50 postseason USTA matches, including multiple Regionals, Sectionals, and a USTA Nationals appearance in 2016. Lindsay (along with her husband) are the reigning champions in the Mixed 8.0 Doubles division at an annual USTA sanctioned Hudson Valley tournament, with 3 consecutive wins from 2017-2019. She has tournament victories at TSR’s Club Championships in Mixed Doubles 7.5 (2016) as well as Women’s Doubles (2015, 2016).
Lindsay has been a member of Taconic Sport & Racquet for over 7 years. This club holds a special place for her as she’s built many wonderful memories and friendships. She has truly been a central part of this club for many years, and will now take a role amongst the management team. Lindsay looks forward to putting her her impressive skills, personality, and drive to work for Taconic Sport & Racquet.
