Summer Outdoor Pickleball Season Courts 2024
As in years past, outdoor pickleball courts will remain free to members! Once the outdoor courts open for the season, members can book courts up to seven days in advance based on availability. It’s important to keep in mind that Taconic Sport & Racquet is growing rapidly!
For members that want the convenience of knowing their outdoor summer court is booked and available every week, we are launching “Summer Outdoor Pickleball Season Courts 2024”. Please see below for full details.
- Summer Outdoor Pickleball Season Courts (SOPSC) are guaranteed outdoor court time. No need to schedule and book a court every week, it will be scheduled and held for you.
- The season will run for a minimum of 12 weeks starting the week of Memorial Day and ending at the end of August. (Specific start, end, and off dates will be provided at time of booking).
- This is a minimum commitment of 12 weeks and may be extended (based on availability) by making the request to info@taconicracquet.com.
- The cost for members is $10 per court per hour for a minimum of a 12 week period. This cost will be applied to all players based on number of shares, once the roster is submitted by the Season Court Captain.
- The cost for non-members is $60 per court per hour. All Summer Outdoor Pickleball Season Courts are allowed a maximum of 50% of the total number of players on the roster as non-members. The Court Captain must be a member of Taconic Sport & Racquet. Any season court with more than 50% of the total number of players as non-members will be subject to revocation.
- Billing will be taken in full for the entire season two weeks before the court commences. A full roster must be submitted to info@taconicracquet.com. If preferred, the Season Court Captain can choose to take the responsibility of full payment for the court.
- Once the roster is submitted and payment is taken, there will be no refunds or payment swaps. Any swaps of play will be managed between the players. Taconic Sport & Racquet will not be responsible for the financial transactions between players.
- The Summer Outdoor Pickleball Season Court will be built on the outdoor courts and will not be moved indoors. In the case of rain, or any unplayable circumstance, it is the responsibility of the court players and Court Captain to reschedule on the outdoor courts based on availability by emailing management at info@taconicracquet.com. Refunds and credits will not be granted for any reason.
- SOPSC courts will be sold and booked first come, first served – specific DAY/TIME/NUMBER OF COURTS requests are to be sent in writing to info@taconicracquet.com. Full rosters will be due shortly thereafter to lock in the court.
- For any players that have an Indoor Pickleball Season Court, the timeframe of an indoor season court does not automatically transfer to an outdoor season court. Also, an outdoor season court will not transfer to indoors for the upcoming indoor season, nor will it transfer to next summer.
Any player interested in a Summer INDOOR Pickleball Season Court, the price remains the same as the indoor season. Please submit requests via email at info@taconicracquet.com.
