Born and raised in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Drissa Ardjouman is an accomplished tennis professional with a strong international playing and coaching background. A former top-ranked junior, Drissa earned the #2 national ranking in Côte d’Ivoire and competed professionally on the ITF Futures circuit. He holds certifications from both the ITF and USTA.
Drissa began his coaching career in 2016 as an Assistant Coach for the Ivorian National Tennis Federation (FIT) and Head Coach of a prominent tennis club in Abidjan. In 2019, he relocated to the United States, joining the Atlanta Athletic Club, where he led the 14 & under development program.
In 2020, Drissa moved to New York, where he brought his passion for the game to the New York Tennis Club (Bronx) and Kings County Tennis League (Brooklyn), inspiring and developing young players across the city. That same year, he joined Tennis Innovators Academy, coaching across multiple age groups including 10&U, 14&U, 18&U, and adults. Drissa made a significant impact on player development as several of his students have gone on to earn full college scholarships. Adult players under his guidance have seen major improvements in both technique and strategy.
In 2023, Drissa took on the role of High Performance Head Coach at Tennis Club Riverdale, where he also helped launch and grow the club’s pickleball program. In March 2024, he joined Evolution Tennis Academy as Head Coach, bringing with him a high-performance mindset, a deep love for teaching, and a proven track record of developing players at all levels.
