Summer Outdoor Tennis Season Courts 2024
As in years past, outdoor courts will remain free to members! Members can book courts up to seven days in advance based on availability. It’s important to keep in mind that Taconic Sport & Racquet is growing! We have more members and more USTA teams than ever before!
For members that want the convenience of knowing their summer court is booked and available every week we are launching “Summer Outdoor Tennis Season Courts 2024”. Please see below for full details.
- Summer Outdoor Tennis Season Courts (SOTSC) are guaranteed outdoor court time. No need to schedule and book a court every week, it will be scheduled and held for you.
- The season will run for a minimum of 12 weeks starting the week of Memorial Day and ending at the end of August. (Specific start, end, and off dates will be provided).
- All Summer Outdoor Tennis Season Courts are booked for 90 minutes. The cost is $240 for the entire season. This breaks down to $5.00 per person per play for 12 weeks (doubles play).
- The $240 will be billed to one person, a “Court Captain”. All financial transactions to collect the fees will be done amongst the players and the captain. Taconic Sport & Racquet will not be involved in players reimbursing the Captain for play sessions or which players are playing each week.
- Tennis balls are not included with the Summer Outdoor Season Court.
- Non-members are not permitted to play on a Summer Outdoor Season Court.
- The Summer Outdoor Tennis Season Court will be built on the outdoor courts and will not be moved indoors. In the case of rain, or any unplayable circumstance, it is the responsibility of the court players and Court Captain to reschedule on the outdoor courts based on availability by emailing management at info@taconicracquet.com. Refunds and credits will not be granted for any reason.
- SOTSC courts will be sold and booked first come, first served – specific DAY/TIME/NUMBER OF COURTS requests are to be sent in writing to info@taconicracquet.com.
- For any players that have an Indoor Tennis Season Court, the timeframe of an indoor season court does not automatically transfer to an outdoor season court. Also, an outdoor season court will not transfer to indoors for the upcoming indoor season, nor will it transfer to next summer.
- This is a minimum commitment of 12 weeks and may be extended (based on availability) by making the request to info@taconicracquet.com.
- There will be no refunds or payment swaps. Any swaps of play will be managed between the players. Taconic Sport & Racquet will not be responsible for the financial transactions between players.
- SOTSC courts will be sold and booked first come, first served – specific DAY/TIME/NUMBER OF COURTS requests are to be sent in writing to info@taconicracquet.com. Full rosters will be due shortly thereafter to lock in the court.
