Summer TSR Instructional Clinics are designed for people looking for an Instructional Clinic but don’t have a group. We find the group for you!
A TSR Instructional Clinic offers ongoing, weekly group instruction with a tennis professional. Players are committed to play every week. The TSR Instructional Clinic allows you to work on technique, point play strategy, mental focus and footwork. It’s a great option for people who are new to Taconic Sport & Racquet, for people who are just returning to tennis, or for players searching for a level-specific group.
For players new to TSR, a free 30-minute hitting session is required to ensure the perfect fit.
SUMMER SESSION:
The Summer TSR Instructional Clinic will run for 10 weeks. Rolling enrollment is offered, so players can join at any time through the summer with a pro-rated fee.

Monday: June 1 to August 3
Tuesday: June 2 to August 4
Wednesday: June 3 to August 5
Thursday: June 4 to August 6
Friday: June 5 to August 7
Saturday: June 6 to August 15 (Off Date 7/4)
Sunday: June 14 to August 16
COST:
Member Price = $32/hour
Non-Member Price = $42/hour
For 10 weeks, 90 minutes per week the member price is $480.
For 10 weeks, 90 minutes per week the non-member price is $630.
- If a player enrolls mid-season, the total cost for the clinic will depend on the number of weeks. A price will be quoted before enrollment.
- Payment will be processed as a one time payment will be taken at the start of June.
- There is a 6:1 student-to-Tennis Professional ratio.

What if I miss a class?
Makeup Classes: Player can attend a make-up during the Instructional Clinic Makeup Dates. Two makeups will be available, one in mid-July and one in mid-August. Specific makeup dates will be announced. Makeups will be offered by level (2.5/3.0 and 3.5+) and may or may not be with your clinic Tennis Professional. Player to Tennis Professional ratio may differ from your clinic. Players must register for the makeup sessions. Once the makeup session reaches capacity, registration will be closed.
Sub Player: Players can choose to find a substitute (sub) player to fill the spot. The sub player should be at the same level of the enrolled player and at an appropriate level for the group. If an enrolled player finds a sub, the enrolled player is not permitted to attend a makeup for the class as it is not considered a “missed” class. Any financial transaction between the enrolled player and the player sub is managed between the players. Taconic Sport & Racquet does not partake or facilitate the financial agreement.
What if I have a medical issue and can no longer play?
A TSR Instructional Clinic participant out on medical need for more than 30 days can, with a medical release from a doctor, request a prorated account credit.
