The TSR Club Championship is an in-house tournament for TSR MEMBERS. We encourage players of all levels to join this event. It’s a great way to meet new people and feel the thrill of competition. It’s time to have fun, show off your skills and win the coveted title of TACONIC SPORT & RACQUET CLUB CHAMPION!

*Please note, tennis divisions may be combined based on registration levels.
This is a member only event and is free to all participants.

Draws will be available by Wednesday, July 5th. They will be posted and updated on the website www.taconicracquet.com.
Conditions of entry:
-Should you advance to the finals, September 9th (rain date 10th), but are unable to play, you will forfeit your position in the finals and be replaced with the runner up.
-If you are traveling for a majority of the months of July and August, please do not sign up.
-This is a tournament designed for adult players. Minimum age of entry is 15.
-Deadlines for each round will be posted. In order to keep the tournament on track, players must be available to complete the match by the round deadline. Any teams unable to meet the round deadline will be handled at the discretion of TSR Management.
-Your contact information will be shared with players in your pool.
-The first round of the tournament is round robin; therefore, be prepared to play 2-3 matches or more in the first round.
Scheduling your matches and rules of engagement:
-This is a “rolling draw” format. Matches are to be scheduled on your own time, must be played on premises at Taconic Sport & Racquet, and must be completed by the round deadline.
-All players registered for the Club Championships agree to allow Taconic Sport & Racquet to share contact information such as email and cell phone with opponents in order to schedule matches.
-Both players/teams must bring an unopened can of balls, the winner gets the unopened can for the next round.
After each match is played, scores must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scoring follows USTA guidelines with best of three sets. A 7-point tie break at 6-6. The 3rd set is a 10-point tie break.
-Finals will start at 9am Saturday, September 9th (rain date September 10th).
-All finals will be scheduled for one day. If a player signs up for three events, please be prepared for the possibility of playing three finals in one day.
-Members are encouraged to come watch and cheer for our finalists! Trophies will be
awarded to the winners of each division.
